FINA Speed & Endurance & UNAA Area Qualifier Ninja  Competition 

 

Come test your speed and endurance against the Ninja course. It's you versus the course. If you finish in the allotted time or you are in top 3 at the UNAA, you qualify to attend Regionals at Lost Island Warrior on May 26th of 2024 Give it a try! ALL AGES can take the challenge! ALL clears in the FINA competition will advance to FINALS or top 4 if not all clear! 

 

Date: Saturday, April 6th FINA Endurance and UNAA NInja Competition

          Sunday, April 7th UNAA Ninja Competition

 

Time: April 6th 8;30 am to 8 pm Saturday ENDURANCE UNAA & FINA

         April 7th  8;30  am to 8 pm Sunday SPEED FINA

Location: Indoor Ninja Core Training Gym ( formerly called Lost island indoor)

                  6060 Hollow Tree Court

                  Colorado Springs, CO 80918

( Google Flex gym look for outdoor weight equipment then look to right for large green concrete sign 

that says NINJA WARRIOR and enter at blue door )

Ages Divisions For FINA ( you calculate your age as of January 1st, 2024 

7U ( Ages 5-7)

9U ( ages 8-9)

11U ( ages 10-11)

13U ( ages 12-13) 

Adult (ages 14 to 39)  For UNAA it would be 16-39 and 15U division 

Masters ( ages 40+)

Elite ( ages 13 and up)

SATURDAY, April 6th UNAA & FINA Endurance

( Same course scored simultaneously 2 timers one for  each

8:30 rules) 9:00 am to 10:00 am (8:30 rules) KIDS ages 7U  

10:15 am (rules) to 12:30 pm  ages 9U

12:45 pm (rules)  to 2:15 pm 11U  

2:30 pm (rules) to 4:15 pm 13U

4:30 pm (rules) to 6:30 pm   MASTERS/AMATEURS/15U for UNAA/FINA

6:30 pm PROS will go right after Amateurs since only a few  pros registered.

 

SUNDAY, April 7th FINA SPEED 

8:30 am (rules)  to 10:00 am KIDS ages 7U (5-7) 

10:00 am (rules) to 12:00 pm ages 9U

12:15 pm (rules) to 1:45pm 11U  

2:00 pm (rules) to 3:30 pm 13U

3:45pm (Rules) to 5:30 pm  15 U, MASTERS and AMATEURS

5;30 pm  pros should be ready right after Masters and Amateurs finish!

FINA SPEED COMPETITION: Consists of 8 obstacles with a combination of speed, agility, upper body, and lower body which must be completed in a race against the clock. If all obstacles are completed, you qualify to compete in Sectionals on May 25th for endurance and May 26th for speed at Lost Island Warriors and then on to National Finals in July 27-28 in Anaheim, CA at World Obstacle Expo. Top 4 advance even if no one  clears in that age group

 

 FINA ENDURANCE COMPETITION: Consists of 12 obstacles with a combination of upper body, lower body, agility and grip endurance. You gain one point for every obstacle complete with a 15 second max rest between each obstacle. If you complete all obstacles in the allowed time limit (different for each age group)  you qualify to compete in Regionals on Saturday, May 25th for endurance at Lost Island Warriors and then on to National Finals on July 27-28 in Anaheim, CA next to Disney at the World Obstacle Expo. Top 4 advance to regionals if even if some do not clear!

 

UNAA Area Qualifier Competition: This will be an endurance style course. The time is scored at the same time as the FINA endurance course on the same course. One timer will score the endurance course based on FINA scoring (ninjaworks) and another timer will score based on the UNAA timing system (NinjaMaster). Top  3 and or 50% of each male and female division advances to Regionals on Saturday,  May 25th, at Lost Island Warrior

 

Finishers Badges are given to all who finish the FINA course in the allotted time or stars if already earned a badge. Awards to top 3 in each category
